Restylane & Perlane

Restylane and Perlane are both safe and natural cosmetic dermal fillers that restore volume and fullness to the skin, correcting facial wrinkles and folds.  They are made of hyaluronic acid gels, a natural substance that exists in all living things.  Restylane and Perlane are clear gels that maintain their shape using our body's own moisture.

The amount of natural hyaluronic acid in our body decreases over time. This can be accelerated by the aging process, genetics or environmental causes (sun damage or smoking).  As this happens, we start to notice visible signs of aging--fine lines, wrinkles, folds, and overall volume loss.  Restylane and Perlane can be used to recreate fullness of tissue. 

Multiple injections via a fine needle, after topical anesthesia, are done to create the fullness you are looking for.  Whether it is lips, cheeks, earlobes, nose or backs of hands, you can restore that youthful fullness in less than an hour.

Gel fillers are also useful in averting collapsed nipples and enhancing stimulation of the Graffenberg spot.

Restylane and Perlane are temporary fillers and will last 4 to 8 months depending on the amount of movement and the person.  Results are immediate.  Any bruising or swelling resolves a few days after treatment.
