Lip Enhancement

Not crazy about your lips?  Whether it's shape, size or lines, there are many ways to enhance or correct the lips.  Fillers, permanent implants and even surgery are all options for lip enhancement.  Depending on your natural lip shape and size, you may decide to outline them with a little filler, make them fuller and more lush, or lift the upper lip to have a more defined "cupids bow".  We have multiple options to discuss with you during your consultation.

We use most of the common FDA approved fillers available.  Not all fillers are good for lips, so we will make recommendations based on what you want your lips and the contours of the peri-oral tissues to look and feel like.  We will discuss how certain fillers and techniques are more appropriate for different areas of the face.

Fillers, in and around the lips can be paired with various laser resurfacing options to tighten and smooth the skin.  Resurfacing is usually done prior to filling.

Permanent lip implants have been evolving for nearly a decade and finally have become a good option for permanent lip augmentation. The newest implants that are soft, flexible and conform very nicely to the lips' curved contour. They feel soft and natural just like lip tissue.  We use Perma-Face lip implants which are soft and jelly like and available in various sizes and shapes.

A lip-roll is a surgical procedure that removes the muscle and skin just under the nose to lift/roll the center of the upper lip upwards.  The red lip tissue becomes more visible, making the lip look fuller/thicker.

Fillers, laser resurfacing, implants and lip-roll surgeries are performed safely and comfortably in the office with topical and local anesthesia.
